Baby's first Christmas

Here we are in Minnesota, the week of Christmas and when my little town in the middle of nowhere looks outside the window we see nothing but dead grass! Now my feelings on this is mixed! Since we are now the caretakers of an apartment building we are required to shovel the walks (Had to do that once this year) record snow plows coming through and have all the tenants move their vehicles when the plow arrives (0). On the other hand this is the first year that I can remember that the song I'm dreaming of a white Christmas has had some truth! I live in Minnesota! The first snow fall is pretty special but after that I'm over it! We usually spend a good 7-8 months with the stuff and you just kinda get over it! But I'm so tired of looking at dead grass! My birthday was pretty good! Todd's dad came back from California and found out it was my birthday and went to his car and took out a portable DVD player that he had bought Logan for Christmas and decided that it was mine! I looked it up and I can't believe how much money that he was spending on my child! He's 10 months! He doesn't need a DVD player! Can we say spoiled child? Other than that it's still been pretty quiet around here! Not that I am complaining of course! To everyone, have a merry Christmas and hope all is well with you!
