I'm Back!

Hello everyone! Oh my where to start! Well the reason that I had ended my blog was because too many people in my personal life had found the blog and the only way to keep them from reading it was to delete it! The past year has made my head spin! I'm now 23 in Minnesota with a 5 month old baby and a boyfriend/baby's father that just can't seem to stay out of trouble! so there is lots to catch up on but I will start with the moving to Florida story.

On May 25th 2005 I made a flight to Phoenix AZ to meet up with a friend from the college days to drive across the country with his two vehicles (red car and Volkswagen van painted to look like a hippy van from the 70's) to Cape Canaveral Florida! I land in Phoenix and myself being a full Minnesotan all my life steps out of the airport to the heat that basically knocks me in the gut to my friend calling me on the cell phone saying get in the car quickly! I have no idea what he's talking about until I get in the car and then it dies 20 feet ahead in a red zone!

So we're off! We drive on hwy 10 through new Mexico and then in to Texas where the cops are not a fan of my friends van! I watched one do a u-turn through the median pull up along side us and look for anything to pull us over! Speeding, no seat belts broken tail lights but he couldn't especially since at the time that the van couldn't go any faster than 60 mph.

We get tot the other side of Texas and it decides that we are not leaving! As we near the Louisiana border there is mass rainfall and wind! I don't like driving in big cities! I refused to drive in the twin cities until I was 22! Then you mix thunderstorm, heavy winds, Houston Tx, and big semi's swerving in my lane because of the wind! Freaking out in the red car! Then on the radio I hear that there is a Tornado in Houston. We get through the city and then have to pull over about 5 miles before the border because there is so much rain that we can't see the lines in the road!

We finally get to Cape Canaveral and we get into the apartment and I can't figure out why I am so stressed and tired! I was literally tired the entire trip! It was nuts! I get a job down on the beach and the smell of oysters just make me sick! I decide I need to get out and have some fun so I go to a friends house to relax in her pool and I tell her that my period is late and I was thinking it was due to stress! Well she said let's find out and goes to get a spare pregnancy test that she had in her bathroom! I go in to take it and I'm not kidding you! There was no three minutes here! It was positive the second that I took it! I sat down and my head hit the table and I just started bawling! I didn't know what to do! The father and my family is acrossed the country! Do I stay in Florida, go back home? I made a phone call to the father and told him that I was thinking of coming home (not telling him who I was coming home with) and he told me that he wanted me to that he missed me and that he wanted to start dating again once I returned! Came home and told him and he was happy about it And we are now living in a apartment in the center of Minnesota.
